Aldo Cibic: We Life
Nov 13 - 16, 2025
West Bund Art & Design, Booth AM03
Commissioned by Licheng Ling Projects, Italian architect and designer Aldo Cibic created a limited-edition furniture and a thematic exhibition display for West Bund Art & Design, design /delight 2025 - Aldo Cibic: We, Life.
The collection offers a fresh reinterpretation through the use of Mutina tiles, as Cibic translates the design vocabularies of Nathalie Du Pasquier and Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec into six new pieces: the Homen shelf, the Nathalie bench, the Totem shelf, the Cilly planter, the Asgard low stool, and the Lily side table.
Rooted in his extended years in China, the collection signals a quiet turning point in Cibic’s trajectory - an evolution from his early, exuberant Memphis vocabulary toward a more restrained, reflective mode of expression.
The exhibition opened on November 12, 2025, with public viewings from November 13 to November 16.
Aldo Cibic founder of CibicWorkshop, was born in Vicenza, Italy in 1955. In 1981, as a partner in Sottsass Associati, he was a founding member of Memphis. His work is mainly related to researching and designing communities and places.
